The Assembly Rooms on Edinburgh’s George Street opened it’s doors on the 11th January 1787. The hall has played host to figures such as Charles Dickens and William Makepeace Thackary. It has been used sporadically for concerts over the years.

- 1983 20th August Tom Robinson & Crew (this would have been a run of dates, but I don’t have exact dates yet). I actually remember I met Tom coming out of Elena Mae photography in Princess Street at this time.
