Threshold

A special page here given over entirely to Threshold. Threshold were Les McKeown’s pre Bay City Rollers band, and here I am proud to include rare photos of the band taken around various well known Edinburgh locations in 1973.

Threshold were Les McKeown (vocals), Alex Valente (lead guitar), John Walker (rhythm guitar), Alan Wright (bass), and Jon Gillam (drums). For Les Rollermania was just round the corner!

The Henry Moore Reclining Figure bronze in this photo was at this time to be found in the grounds of the Botanic Gardens. It can now be found in the grounds of the Modern Art Gallery in Belford Road.
